My favorite movies are ones that I will watch over and over. I love horror/scary movies and some romance movies. We all have a preference for what we love and would watch again. What interests you and will captivate you to stay and watch the whole movie. I used to love watching action movies, but I do get up and walk away halfway through it. So I decided that I used to love them and now don’t.
When I think of movies, I think about my collection. I started my movie collection in DVD. Then I ended up getting a blu-ray player. So once I tried out my blu-ray player, I loved the quality of my movie. And the sound was amazing. So I started to only collect blu-ray movies. But they are quite costly after a while. $29.95 each. Now most of them come with a DVD and download code with the movie. So it is good, I usually give the DVD away to someone that only has a DVD player. I download the code to my computer to watch the movie on the go.
Use A Dvd Player/Blu-Ray?
You can start with a DVD it is your cheaper player, but still good. I know I now see them for under $30. But the thing is if you watch a lot of movies, you may end up having to buy another one in 6 months. Cause it will either not load or will start to skip.
You can get a Blu-ray player, which plays both DVD and Blu-ray movies. Some also play photos cd’s also. Or they even may have a USB in the front. Where you would put your USB in from the things you got off of your computer. Like pictures or even music, you wish to listen to. This of course would be from your own cd collection.
Own Your Own Movies
You buy movies either on Blu-ray or DVD. If you’re going to spend all that money on your movie collection. It is good to decide on what you really love to watch. Cause remember this is your collection. You don’t want to end up selling them on the marketplace for $2. So be selective on what you want to buy. I ended up just buying most in the pawnshop or a garage sale. It is great to own your own movies if you would love to watch them without having to rely on your internet for streaming. Also, when you stop them your DVD player will also save the spot you were at. You get to watch your movies in the comfort of your own home, knowing you own the movie.
Stream Movies From Netflix?
I know when I want to watch a movie, but I am already in bed. I will usually go to Netflix and pick a movie. Now, with that, there is not much selection as there used to be. Especially, you rely on the Internet to load your movie. Sometimes they don’t load either. Movies are on there only for a while. Some movies will tell you when they are leaving Netflix and you can’t stream it anymore. Especially if you have someone in your house streaming YouTube, you may not get to even load your movie. I had that when all kids were watching YouTube or even playing a game. Had to go get a DVD movie to watch.
Sometimes even bad weather won’t let your movie download. That is why sometimes it is good to have some movies of your own. So you will not be without something to watch.
Watch On Roku Device
Watching a movie on a Roku Device is great, these are about $29.99 in Walmart. And only use a USB connection and HDMI connection on your tv. You know what I also found out. That if you have a smartphone, you can download a Roku Remote App. Now, this allows you to use this as the remote. But there also is another feature on it, headphones. You can listen right from your phone. Using Bluetooth or plug-in headphones.
Meaning, you can stream a scary movie on your tv via a Roku device. From either Netflix or Disney or even CBS Access. I love watching my Insidious Movies when using the app on my phone. Because it does get loud at times. All by using my AirPods and sitting and eating popcorn. Not tied down to a cord when I use Bluetooth-enabled headphones. As long as they keep streaming these movies, it will be great.
Disney Is Another Streaming Place To Go
Now I do find better movies on Disney and they are more recent too. Also, it is not just Disney movies either. They have quite a few movies on there. They have Planet of the Apes, 911 series oh and even Criminal Minds. You get to watch Criminal Minds right from the very beginning, now how great is that? Especially if you need something to binge watch.

This is my way of having my own time. As I work all day, mostly about 9 hours a day. Sure doesn’t feel like work!!! I look up things on the internet. Write about things I love, or even just look up things I love. Yes, it is work. Cause it is for my blog site. Which we call a Performance Blogging System. Now, how about getting paid to do what you are doing already. Of course, there is more to it. But that too sure doesn’t feel like work either. Post some ads on the work I wrote. With links, I am given. Sound easy? Connect to me here.
