Christmas shopping is what has been on my mind. As it gets closer, we are all looking for ideas for the ones we love. Where to start?
What do your family want, or have they been laying down some hints for you? Be nice if they gave you some ideas on where to look. Look for what!
Sometimes, it may be just easier just to go and get them a gift card. Gift cards are easy to find, many stores carry them. Or even get the pre loaded Visa Card. But, with that one, there is a fee that goes with it. I found that out one year. Not much, but it is when you relied on the card. Didn’t bring your wallet with you. Only being short, like 5 dollars.
So make sure when you do go use a gift card, that you should bring some money. Or even your debit card, or whatever your choice of money is.
Have you ever came to that one person you have to buy for the person that has everything. How about a gift card and let them decide what they would get themselves. They will love their gift because they got what they wanted. I know it is so hard to shop for gifts for some people.
Christmas Shopping For Kids
Now, this one is a hard one!! Because I have older kids too. Adults now, but they still want something for Christmas. But, the thing with them, is they are still kids at heart. So they are all in for the Christmas candy and chocolate, candy canes. Of course, some electronic device. That they can’t afford to buy. But you can, so that is on their wish list.
So with all these new devices out there, going from tablets-computers, and to game systems. See my dilemma. What do get!! Do they get a bunch of chocolate and some gift cards? Or one gift card?? So hard to decide. They are still my kids. Love to buy them gifts. But I buy one, for one child. The other one will expect the same, or they compare their gifts. Who got the better one, and why!
So from that, I know kids will be kids, so I try to please each one. Which is not an easy task. I may just give each adult child, money. Solve my issue, and they can buy what they want.
Younger Children Christmas Shopping
That one, is a little harder. Especially now, since they just got off of being grounded. They lost their devices and tv’s, for a week. I only gave them their device back for now.
They are 15 years old and 10 years old. So they are still children. Their presents will depend on how good they have been all year.
- do they deserve a gift
- have they been good?
- what are they expecting?? (depends on how good they have been)
- easy to shop for?
- have they told you exactly what they want?
Alot goes into the thoughts I have when I need to shop for them.
So this year, I am thinking gift cards. Why??
Because they are always on their device. One is an android phone and the other is a computer, or iPad. So a gift card loaded with money to spend on their games on their devices. Sounds good to me. Easy, and makes them happy.
Of course, chocolate for them, and candy. Maybe a couple small gifts. But even other family members don’t know what to get them either. Maybe even a Xbox One Remote may be a good choice. A new mouse, for the computer.
Christmas Shopping Time-Stressful??

Gives you some energy, which you need!! Mental clarity and sure does help you out. Helps me to continue with the rest of my day.
So don’t stress out too much when Christmas Shopping is getting closer. Just reach for one of these, and you will be just fine!! Believe me!
