Citric Acid is another cleaning product that not many may not know about. Other than using for bath bombs. It is a household cleaner for many things.
I recently had looked up how to use my citric acid up. I have bought a lot of bath bombs and never made any more. So I just didn’t want to throw it all away.
I came across many things that said I could use this for cleaning your house.
- rid of soap scum
- clean your toilet
- wash windows
- treat lime and hard water stains
- clean anything in your house
- gets rid of most mold and mildew
- helps to repel dust also
Basically, you would get a spray bottle and mix a 1-6 ratio. Citric acid and water. I mixed mine with warm water and then added the citric acid. You know what it had done. Cleaned my spray bottle, which was previously a cloudy bottle. Is now a clear bottle.
You only need to spray and wipe. Stubborn stains you can leave on the surface for a bit, and then wipe off.
I thought that was great. And all I was doing was mixing it to use as a cleaner. Not to clean my spray bottle. So I wonder how it will work on the cleaning I need to get done in my house. Amazed for sure.
To Try This With First!
I am first trying this with my bathroom tiles in the shower/tub. See how it does. Says the longer the better, so you do not need to use elbow grease. The easier the better sounds are great. Who wants to scrub their bathroom tile more than you need to? Not me.
I will also be testing it out on my bathroom floor. This is tile again, but this is for the grout issue I have. As my tile is supposed to be light white but is actually dark brown. Also, they have a groove, which makes it even harder to clean all the time.
I need to try it out on my windows when I can.
I have tried it out on cleaning my kitchen sink, made the stainless steel shine. But you do not want to spray this like crazy, because you still want to be able to breathe.
As I found out if you want to spray like crazy, wear a mask or something. It is not harsh. Just a little bubbly.

Citric Acid Is Another Cleaning Product
Citric acid may be overlooked for a household cleaner, but not anymore. If you think about it, you already use citric acid. You are just using lemons or oranges instead. So this is a healthy cleaner you will not need to worry about what you’re cleaning with.
Something that you will find yourself going to the store to buy right now. Now you have all these things you want to clean in your house. This may even work better than all the cleaners you are currently using. You go and try for yourself. You may even shock yourself and want to clean even more.
Bathroom Uses Worked
I had a mix of citric acid in a spray bottle and sprayed in my shower. Wow, it was so shiny and smooth and the soap scum had went away. Sure not all of it, but most of it and will do this again. But you do need ventilation so you can breath. I found I had a hard time breathing if I sprayed too much on the walls. I sure did love it in the toilet too. All nice and shiny and got rid of the hard water stains, almost as shiny as when I use bleach.
I didn’t care for it on my mirrors, as it cleaned but not as shiny. Was ok on the floor, but I think my floors are too far gone for this to work. So a great thing to use in your shower to get rid of soap scum. Not much elbow grease needed for this. I sure was amazed.
If you want to use something that works and cost very little. Then this is the item for you, and it works great. So easy to mix in a spray bottle and your all set to get started cleaning. Enjoy!!!
