Do I Dream?

When I go to sleep I always wonder Do I dream?? I know I would go to sleep and then when I wake the next day I always try to remember what I dreamt about. You know what, I never remember anything. I think maybe I thought to hard and maybe it just fell out of my head. No, I think I did not dream at all. Which I believe it means I never got REM sleep. The sleep that makes you go into a deep sleep, and we all need that. To feel refreshed and ready to kick start our morning when we shot out of bed.

Now that is the way I want to wake up every day. All refreshed and ready to kick start my day. I know my watch that actually tracks my sleep tells me I only get about hour and half REM sleep. Geez, that doesn’t sound good. Oh and I even take some snaps to help me sleep, called Zlem. That combo and making sure I get enough hours too. I have my good days and bad days, but yes I do get some good sleep. I know I have no trouble falling asleep at all. Few minutes and I am out, I am really good at cat naps too.

Prep To Get A Good Sleep

Now how do you prepare yourself to go to bed? Or do you even do that. I know some that love to have a bath before they go to bed, especially if they struggle to sleep. Or maybe you have a cup of tea or even SleepyTime Tea. I know some that have a glass of warm milk to help fall asleep. If that is your problem, is falling asleep. It takes so long to fall asleep, but you have no problem staying asleep.

I have no problem falling asleep or staying asleep. I have learned how to sleep through anything, but I also know how to hear noises if I need too. Cause I am a mom and have kids I listen for. Or even a burglar or outside noises, I hear those. But I do try to get 8 hours each night, but actually get 7. I wake each morning at the same time. I am still trying to not use my iPad at night, but I don’t think that will happen.

Once you understand how you are and what you need to do to get a good nights sleep. Follow a routine and make it happen.

Why Do We Need A Good Night’s Sleep

Helps your body to fight any colds you may catch. Prevent you from gaining weight, and also puts you in a better mood. Not enough sleep also can lead to heart problems like a heart attack or high blood pressure. Lack of sleep can make your body release cortisol, a stress hormone that makes your heart work harder. So your heart needs you to sleep. Also improves your memory, cause your mind needs rest too. There are so many factors of why we need good sleep and a good rest too. So I know I do what I can to make sure I sleep enough. Sometimes, if I work to hard some days. I even stop and have a nap if needed.

I like Looking Up My Dreams

It is very interesting what I dream about, when I do dream. I recently dreamt of a plate smashing on the floor. I have had that dream a few times now. It’s meaning- metaphor for recognition for your work. Manipulate things to your advantage. Moving forward in the right direction. (clip from dreamsopedia) So that interpretation is very interesting.
