Grow Mentally Strong

Grow mentally strong is something we need to do in our everyday lives. We need it to get further than we currently are. Your mind needs to learn and grow always.

So you need to know that you can control only the things that you can control. Some things may be out of your control. That’s ok, you don’t really need to worry about that. Cause you will work yourself up to where you are stressed and upset. Because of this thing you can not control.

It all does work out in the end. But no need to stress out over something. Move on with your day, of course, after you have cleared your mind of the thing that was stressing you. Something that is so simple and I know I don’t even remember to do it as much as I should. Well, you know when you feel weighted down for any reason. You need to take a step back and destress yourself, maybe even read a book or a quick game on your cell. Believe me, you will feel great after that.

So just remember to alway destress yourself and take some me time for yourself. It will help you to be more in tune with your day, more relaxed and at ease. So get a good night’s sleep and remember to destress always.

How Did I Do It?

HOW? Only focusing on the things that are in my control. I don’t sweat the things that I cannot change. I got rid of toxic people in my life, things that upset me also. That could be anything. But the toxic people were one big thing in my life. Believe it or not they are a real big stress in most everyone’s life. And most likely you never even noticed that you have some friends or family members like this.

Caused me alot of stress, and to this day-still do stress me out. So gradually not seeing them or calling them has helped. Also, not taking what they say to heart also helps too. Quit letting them boss you around and thinking they know what is best for you. When it most likely has to do with them and nothing with you.

I can only be around them for so long. I need to move out of their toxic environment pretty soon after seeing them. I find a way of cleansing all of their bad thoughts and ideas they offered to me. Cleared my head of all the things we spoke about.

Things I Do

So when things get overwhelming for me and I need to calm down. Refocus and get back to me. I usually find my playlist on my phone and grab my AirPods, and go for a walk. Or even just go for a walk to the store. Get some things I need while I get my walk and steps in. Need my steps to earn with my watch.

Even after this I still may feel off or feel unsettled. I would usually go find a coloring book and my pencil crayons and do some coloring. Clears my head and I stop thinking about all that is bothering me. This is the one I would go for. Cause reading does not help, as it makes my head spin and I think too much. This may not work for all, but you just need a way to clear your head. We all need this and not to stress so much. Tomorrow is another day and it will be better then today. This is how you will grow mentally strong.

How Do You Destress?

  • go for a walk
  • color in a coloring book
  • read a book/magazine
  • watch a movie
  • listen to a podcast
  • listen to an audiobook
  • listen to some music (along with a walk)
  • go to a lake for a walk
  • go for a drive to clear your head.
