Natural Beauty Remedies are something I am always looking for. As it is always good to use something that you already have in your house. Or something that you know works for you.
Have Puffy Eyes??
Either the heat or the spring weather, has made your eyes swollen and puffy. Need something to help with that. Two used cooled Green tea bags are placed on your eyes. Will reduce inflammation and puffiness. Only needed for a few minutes a day to get results.
Are Allergies getting to you-Itchy Eyes?
How about Allergies? I know I always get allergies, could be just dust from inside. To being outside and fresh-cut grass, even flowers pollinating, or anything else. My eyes get itchy and sore, start sneezing.
A Lavender Steam will help with that.
- Pour some Lavender Tea into a bowl, make a tent over your head with a towel. Make sure to not lean over the bowl too close- so you don’t get burned from the steam. You can do this lavender steam for 5-10 minutes a day, or when needed.
Tired Achy Feet are something we all get at some time
Hard day at work, or even just busy on your feet all day. Whatever you did, that made your feet just feel so sore. I know I feel like that after I had been at work and on my feet for 8 hours. All I want to do is sit down, and get off my feet!! If that is the case, try this out, it will make your feet happy.
- ~In a big bowl or even a foot bath- Add 1 c. Epsom Salts, and some of your favorite essential oils(lavender). Stir to mix it all together. You can now soak your feet for 10 minutes or till the water goes cool. When finished, just dry off with a towel kick back and rest. Your feet will feel better since they now had a good soak.
Natural Beauty Remedies is something that we all could use

I know I love to try out all these new things that I find, hard to remember them all. Right now I know I love Coconut oil. I do use a little in my hair, because my hair is thick, and it gets really frizzy. Nothing else does work on my hair, as I have tried most of them. I used to use it for my hands, as they were always dry, but it does tend to get greasy when you’re using it. So here is one that you can use for puffiness in your face.
Great Masks you Can Make at Home
Black Tea-Face Mask
This is one of the natural beauty remedies that you should try out and see if you like it as much as I do. This will help with reducing the puffiness in your face as well as the redness. It does this because of the tannic acid it has in the tea.
- Steep 5 bags of black tea in an 8 oz. cup of hot water for 3 minutes. After that is done, remove tea bags-let cool. Open the bags, and mix those with 1 tsp. honey and some juice of a lemon(small amount) Smooth on a washed face. Sit back let it work for 5-10 minutes. After, rinse.
Honey, Banana, and Oatmeal Face Mask
This is for you if you have Combination skin, and you know what that means. You have oily and dry skin, and some have just the oily T-zone. Meaning the forehead and nose and chin. So you need a combination of things for your mask, not just a one go to ingredient.
Banana is for hydrating and nourishing your pores, Honey is for antibacterial and the inflammatory properties it has. And last is the oatmeal which helps to soak up the oil on your face. So if your face is really oily then make sure to rub the oatmeal on that part of your face.
- First, mash the banana in a bowl.
- Pour in some honey and the oatmeal, and you will see it start to make a paste like consistency. If it seems to dry, just add a little more honey.
- Now, you apply the mask to your clean, dry face. Leave for 10-15 minutes.
When the time is up, you can go ahead and remove your mask with warm water and then rinse with cold water. Towel dry, and you will see how much your face is so much smoother and less oily.
Grated Carrot Mask
A Mask that will help your aging skin. It will help to hydrate, improve elasticity and firmness.
- Mix 1/2 cup. grated carrot, with 1 1/2 tsp. plain mayonnaise in a bowl.
Once your done mixing, put this on your clean, dry face. Let sit for 15 minutes, and just know this is a wet type of mask. Something different for sure. When it is times up, just rinse of your face and towel dry.
Scrubs for healthier skin and a happier you!!
How about a scrub for your body. You can also make one of those too, using green tea. We have all heard about the benefits of green tea as it’s full of antioxidants. Will help to keep your skin looking soft and youthful.
Now I don’t make my scrubs, I just go get them in a store. Mainly cause I don’t have all the ingredients and it just is easier for me to go buy something instead.
Coffee Sugar Scrub
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 coffee
- 1/4 c. melted coconut oil
Combine the dry ingredients then the oil and mix together. You can just mix in a bowl and add to your mason jar after, or just mix in the jar. This will look like wet sand and be all crumbly looking.
And if you like scent, you can add some also. – Almond Oil, cinnamon, cocoa powder, orange oil or even add some Vitamin E oil.
Your Hair, Skin and Nails need More Help?

Makes my skin look so young and my wrinkles are slowly going away. It is so simple and easy to take and yes, this fits in your purse. My hairdresser recently asked me what I am doing because she has seen how great my face looks. My wrinkles are going away and she just loves my hair. Mainly cause I was going in for a haircut more often than before.
I told her about this and I am thinking I may need to get an extra box and share this with her. See if she will put this in her shop and share with others for me. I will see if I can do this, as I think about it I think its a great idea. Women love their hair and are always getting their hair done, why not go to the source.
Green Tea Scrub for your skin
- Mix about 1/2 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup light sesame oil and 2 tbsp. loose leaf green tea in a bowl. You will want this mixture to be set in the bowl for at least 3 hours to have them properly mix together. When that is all done, it is now ready to use. Use on your skin, and apply in a circular motion. This will remove your dead skin cells and exfoliate your skin. Making it look more brighter and fresh.

Need that extra kick of Energy
Maybe you’re also interested in something for your Energy after all this relaxing beautification. Or maybe you just feel like you need a good kick of energy or something to get rid of brain fog. Now where I am, we are just getting out of winter. I am glad that the weather is warming up and I can start going for my walks again. Having my snap during winter time sure did help me. Since I was not going outside much. It kept me focused and alert, so I was able to get things done. So I say my winter time inside was great, I felt good about staying inside.
There is even this cute little portable spray that is great. Same stuff just different packaging. Good to put in your purse or bag and take anywhere.
I know how that is. I feel like that sometimes, especially after winter. I have been inside all the time, and don’t even feel like I have the energy to go outside. Now is the time we should be going outside as spring has started.
