Ways to preserve money are so simple! Make your own lunch, take your own drink. Make your own dinner, instead of take out. Simple things that you can do, and maybe never even thought of them either. Imagine how much you would save?
Well, it is very simple. Do you go and buy your morning coffee each day? Well if you do, don’t do that, just make your own coffee at home. If you like different kinds of coffee each day, invest in a Keurig Coffee Maker. Think of some other ways to save money, learn to be creative-if your serious.
How about if you buy bottled water?? Do you, are you one of those people that need there water when the go out. Or even head to the gym, need water to drink. WE all should be drinking water, but it doesn’t have to be bottled water. At under $2 a bottle. Crazy amount to be wasting when you could just be using a Brita Filter and a reusable bottle.
Other Ways you Never Thought Of
Do you go out and buy your lunch at the fast food restaurant?? Or just don’t make the time in the morning to make your lunch? Or maybe you like eating at the special place that sells a sandwich or salad you love, but don’t know how to make yourself?
You can as easily make your own sandwich and save more money. Cause a sandwich costs $7 and you work 5 days a week= $35/week.
- A SANDWICH- $35/week =$140/a month=$1,680/Year
- A BOTTLE OF WATER @$2= $10/week= $40/month=$480/Year
Wow, look at the savings you would have from just making your own sandwich each day. Also, bring your own water also. You spend more if you want a bottle of pop instead.
Can you think of ways of saving money?
It could come down to how much do you buy when you go to the store? Is it what you had on your list? Or things you seen and thought you should buy it? Impulse buying is what gets most of us. We over spend on what
Or have you thought of how much you spend on eating chips each time you want to watch a movie? Or even on the ice cream you buy for dessert? The stuff we all need less of anyways. Your stomach will thank you for it.
Or even if you love having pizza, I know I do. But I do limit that also. For me, it’s about $40 each time I want to make an order. Helps that I have to drive 2 hours to get my pizza. So I don’t have it that often. But if there is a great deal, I will buy a bunch of pizzas at one time. Freeze them all, and have later in the week.
They are still good, and keep well in the freezer, don’t get freezer burn. But I would eat them before a months time. Mine usually never last that long. But that is one treat that I do when I can.
I love having the pizzas in my freezer for the days when I can’t cook. Which is when I am busy working. Which you may love to do, cause I do it from the comfort of my own home!!
So maybe you too can come up with your own ways of saving money. Get into the mindset of how and where to start cutting things so you can save. May have to think a bit, but you may come up with ones that will work for you. Or even just a look at how you are spending your money.
Do you know where all your money is spent? Can you account for every penny that is spent?? Know of all the subscriptions that you are paying for? Take a look, and you may be surprised.
You heard that right, I work from home. I love it, and you too can work from home too. Have all the free time you need, to do the things that you love to do. I make the time to do my work, morning are when I will do some baking (cookies, bread, quick breads) or even just make jello. I take the time to make my own coffee and make my own breakfast, and drink water from my own fridge.
Pay Attention to What You Can Not Buy
Start to look at what you do in a day. Or even what you do when you go out visiting or even to work. Are you one to buy a coffee at Tim Horton’s? Or a croissant at the bakery for your snack at work? Or you go get gas for your vehicle and you find yourself buying random things inside the store. Things you don’t need? Pay attention to what you are doing each time your out, where you can spend your money. See how you can cut this out and either find a cheaper alternative. Or buy nothing is even better. Now you will see a difference eventually and you will see that saving money can be done.
