Have you noticed that no one talks about money. Everyone is spending money. More than they even have, and even more that what their bank account has. Using credit cards more or even going into over-draft on their Bank Account.
Spending money of things that you love and must have, is fine if you have the cash. If your credit cards are down and you know you can afford it, then sure splurge. Let’s say that is not the case, you are actually struggling to pay your bills. But you found something you must have, and you just go and buy it anyways. Struggle later and not feeling guilty for that item or items you bought. Cause you felt you deserved it, you had a great day today. Or you did a great job at work/home, or just a reward for yourself.
Seems like you have money to spend. But you don’t, you actually should be working on ways to keep your money. Again, why no one talks about money. Cause most act like they don’t need to. So no one brings it up.

Some good ideas for a start. To change your mindset and see some simple things you can do now. I have thought of some great ways to keep my money and not spend. I feel great when I know I am saving money, and always thinking of more ways to save more. Even with working from home, has saved me a lot also. No more buying lunch, or coffee, or paying for my ride to work.
There is so much that can be done at home for your entertainment. Lots of free apps you can use, even on a trial bases. I have found some great apps for movies and live tv. Even just watching reels on Facebook, I have found some great people to follow. Recipes that I can try at home, even websites of their’s for the recipes too. Making it that much easier for me to try something new. I have yet, to try some out and add them to my website too. My own version of course, and how I have liked them too.
Saving Money can be as simple as cooking at home. Think of all the things you can make from home.
I make my own bread and buns at home. Make stew for dinner, and sometimes I also feel real energetic and I make cookies. But now, I bake bread once a week and cookies once a month. Now my next thing is to start making my own muffins, just a matter of finding the right one that my family will love.
I used to make a lot of fruit crisps for my son, when I had lots of apples and pears in my yard. Such a simple and easy thing to make and everyone ate it right away. Also, make pies alot too. Whatever filled up my kids afterschool, I knew I would be baking something. All my kids have different memories of what mom always made for them. But as they all got older, they always look forward to homemade bread. That is something they love for their grilled cheese sandwiches. And if it’s cold outside, they ask me to make them hot chocolate.
While I am saving money with baking at home. I found that I have also made some great memories for my kids. They all have something they love, and they know mom will make it. Just as I make pancakes each and every Sunday morning. And sometimes we have applesauce I have made and canned. Another memory my kids love. I used to always can food, and now I find it takes too much money to even bother with it now. I may look into it again this summer, just that canning does take time too.
Remember little changes are always good, and easy to adapt to. I found that it starts in small steps and once you see that you can hang onto your money more. You will find more ways to save money and will love doing it too.
