Saving while working from home, is that even possible. Saving on gas to get to work, is one saving. I don’t need to buy special clothes to go to work. I don’t have to buy lunch. Rush around get my breakfast.
I can slow down and make a decent breakfast to have. Not one, that is made really fast. It won’t just be instant mush, I will have something that is even better than that for my breakfast. I will also be able to enjoy my food too, not so rushed.
I would have already sent my kids off to school already. Been able to slow down and make sure they have good food for school. Furthermore saving more. Because I did not just give them some money to buy random food at school. So this way I am able to see and approve what they are eating.
What Am I Saving On???
- Gas, or a bus pass
- a morning coffee, or even a speciality coffee and doughnut
- breakfast from the bakery or fast food place
- workwear, or work clothes
- even maintenance on a vehicle
- wear and tear on your vehicle
- sometimes quick dinner food after work
- outside jacket or sweater
- work shoes (for the job)
- work socks( for the environment)
So when you actually think about it. What do you physically spend on somethings that you can think of right this moment????
That you spent on each and every day and month that you did go to work. Think about it right now, and what was spent.
I know if I think about it. When I was a chambermaid. I needed shoes, walking /active shoes. I was on my feet roughly 9 or more hours a day. Because I walked before and after I even did my job. Even down to breathable socks, for the long hours. I needed, a packed lunch or I went to a store and bought a lunch for $11 a day.
Even a drink or two during the day, even more in summer. Because of my job. Lots of snacks too, to make it through the day. So I sure did spend alot on food, and drinks. Special clothing and all, just for work.
So now, that I do work from home. Sure I still spend money.
I WORK FROM HOME
Now that I work from home, I think about what I do now spend. What do I spend?? I spend some money of course, but not as much.
- I cook my own breakfast and my kids breakfast
- Make kids lunch, instead of giving them money
- I make my own coffee each day
- no need for special shoes or socks-use slippers
- I only need Internet for work
- I already own a computer for work
- no need to leave to head to work, cause I work from home
Thinking about how much I am saving from working from home.
I mainly pay for Internet and my food. But even that is not that much.
So if you are thinking about working from home, it can be done. Just the same as I am doing right this moment. Love doing it too. Because believe me it is so much fun!!!
You work from home and sometimes just need something to help with your day. I have the perfect thing that I use, to help give me that extra energy for my day.
