Camping in British Columbia- we have been to a few places in BC. Just starting to discover all that is hereby traveling to all different areas. Usually, camp somewhere where we don’t have to be on the road for so long. Who wants to be on the road driving all the time, and not enjoying the scenery. I know I want to get there as fast as I can so I can get out and enjoy it!!!
Love seeing how things used to be?
My family and I love to go camping in the Summer. This summer, we have gone to Three Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town in Revelstoke, B.C. We got to check out the town of Revelstoke. We had lots of fun there. Great place to go. Need help with anything with this, you will be amazed at what you will find here.
3 Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town gives you the opportunity to relive the colorful pioneer days of the late 1800s. Gold fever brought thousands of fortune seekers to this part of the country in 1862
This place we found on the way to Revelstoke, was awesome. As usual, you know you are driving by so fast and you never see anything on the side of the highway. Since we been to Revelstoke before, we drove there a bit slower this time. Awesome when you find something new when your Camping in British Columbia.
Place you have to go and check out
Crazy Creek Waterfalls are located on the Trans-Canada Hwy, west of Revelstoke, British Columbia. The spectacular falls have two stages (approx. 100 feet) with a natural pool partway down. A suspension bridge runs directly in front and boardwalks and viewing platforms surround the gorge. The attraction is easily accessible off Highway #1. To see the thundering falls, pull into our Hot Pools parking lot. Whether you have just enough time for a stretch and a coffee, or want to vacation in the Eagle Pass Valley, this is a convenient rest stop. The pedestrian highway overpass connects the Accommodation, RV Park and Hot Pools Facility with the High Mountain Patio, Waterfalls and Suspension Bridge.
Now you may want to check this out, for even more benefits in your travels. I know it cost alot to travel and have no worries with what you spend. I know we all dread the card statements when we are done with our trip. This will help you in lessening the worry and stress you get from your travels. When you should just be having fun and no worries. Right, I know I love it and so will you.
Picking a Campsite out
For camping this year, I don’t know what or where we will be going this time. With all parks and such being closed, only some select ones are even open. We have our favorite camping spots to go to, and those are currently closed. This was all a couple years ago, so now we are looking to head back to Revelstoke. The Lamplighter Campsite is what we will be looking to book 2 sites for this year.
So we did want to go to Alberta this year, but the Calgary Stampede was canceled. Last I heard, so I don’t know what else we wanted to do. Take some more planning and thought into it now. We have already traveled that way for a funeral. Now we are thinking we may want to go to Jasper, Alberta. A half way point from Edmonton to BC. Shall see what we want to do, but I know we are doing a Revelstoke trip.
But there are a lot of camping areas everywhere and just need to pick a spot. I love fishing and need that close to where I pick. We need quiet and away from others that are loud, as we go to bed early. My kids who go will need something to do too. So need to keep that in my mind when I pick a spot. Shall see, lots to consider this year. Maybe grandbabies come too, shall see if things work out soon. But anyways camping is fun and we love the family time together.
