Juicing With Any Kind Of Fruit

Juicing with any kind of fruit is almost endless. You just need to see what you can get your hands on. Even just start with the basics that you can find in your local grocery store.

juicing with any kinds of fruit

I know when I started to first use my juicer, I had to read up on it.

I suggest that to you too, look up how your juicer works. Even the clean-up can be hard sometimes too. You need to remember that you have the pulp from your fruit to clean up after you are done.

I am still new to juicing fruit but am learning along the way. What tastes great and what doesn’t. Cause you want to use fruit or vegetables that you yourself will drink. Or maybe someone else you are juicing for. It has to taste good.

Mixing your juices for some variety

Maybe even try and mix up your fruit mixes, and find out what works and what doesn’t. Same with your vegetables, mix carrots with celery or something. Maybe you need to have kale in your diet, find out what goes good with that. Making small batches at first and go from there.

FIND OUT WHAT WORKS FOR YOU

You are the best judge of what kind of juicer works for you. Whether you buy an electric juicer or even use a blender and strain the juice. Or even just make only orange juice and use a hand juicer for that. I bought a steam juicer, which is 3 pots all together. You have one pot on the bottom for water, the middle is for juice and the top pot for your fruit. I was hesitant on buying this cause it does cost a pretty penny. Under $200 and you know what? It was worth every cent I spent on it. This makes juicing so much easier, no need to peel fruit or pit either, just wash and throw it in. Amazing, just go and look on Amazon.

Juice From Peels and Cores

I have made juice from apple cores and peels. Just from boiling it and turning it down and slowly cooking them. Strained it all afterward. Did that with pears too. This is when I found out that I loved the taste. Also, this was using something that I was just gonna put in the compost.

I saw someone do this with apple peelings and cook them and take the peels out. Add some sugar about a cup to 2 cups of juice. Cook down till it thickens a bit and uses this for jam. Seemed to look like it worked, I haven’t tried this myself.

So I basically used all of the apples and pears I had. After they cooked, I would strain. This is when I would add some sugar if I found that it was not sweet enough for me.

So you do have to taste the juice to make sure that it is good. Don’t assume that your fruit is sweet. Some say the seed section of pear makes it bitter. You can test this yourself, I didn’t seem to notice a difference.

Juicing Using A Blender

This way basically is peeling and coring your fruit. Cut to bite-size pieces and put in the blender. Blend it all with a little bit of water. After all, mixed up, then you would just strain it all.

I think this is a waste of your fruit though. Or you just save the cores and peels and cook and make some more juice.

But you are still losing all that fiber from all your fruit, cause you are only taking the juice out of it. And nothing more. Such a waste of all the fruit fiber.

How about making a smoothie so you can get some vitamins and minerals into your body. Which we are trying to live a healthier lifestyle. More exercise and more outdoors now. A smoothie is quick and easy as long as you have a blender and can make one.

Juicing With Any Kinds Of Fruit

You can use any kinds of fruits you want.

Apples, watermelon, oranges, kiwi, pineapple also any other kinds of fruit you want to juice. Or juice that you think you may want to try out. See what they taste like, made by you. So the possibilities are endless on what you can juice so you can drink it. Now when you think of juicing with any kind of fruits don’t just think fruits also think vegetables.

Don’t forget you can make vegetable juice also. Something else for you to explore. Or even maybe mix some with some fruit too, if you want. I think it will make it sweet. I haven’t tried it myself yet. Cause I really don’t know if I would drink it or not. Is why I have never made any.

If you love pears you can make some homemade pear sauce, same as apple sauce. Just by using pears. I also have made some plum sauce and used it to slow cook my pork chops. I am still testing this one out, cause I think I need more sauce on my meat when I slow cook. Taste delicious, I thought I would try it just because I also use bbq sauce on my meat. Since I have lots of plum sauce I wanted to try this. But I would not think of ever trying juicing with any kind of fruit like rhubarb. Ewww, they are so sour and just need so much sugar, and can you imagine how it would taste? I cringe just thinking about it!!!
